The first indoor climbing gym in the U.S. was established in Seattle in 1987 under the name of Vertical Club, Inc. There are a lot of personal trainers in Seattle, and the hourly rates depend on a few different things. Their experience level is a factor, as well as if they are independent or associated with a gym.
You can hire a personal trainer in Seattle, for as low as $40 an hour, but the average rate you will pay for an independent trainer is closer to $75 an hour. At high-end gyms, you could be looking at a rate of around $129 an hour or more.
To get a lower rate, you can buy a training package for multiple sessions. Half-hour training and small group training rates will also be less expensive.
